# Discounts & store credit

> How much revenue you give away through coupons and store credit, which coupons cost most, and how many orders were free.

![Discounts & Store Credit: gross sales, coupon discounts, discounted orders, revenue collected, given away and free orders](https://mintcdn.com/saletides/3XTFrAAYfSpBbQ4q/images/discounts.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=3XTFrAAYfSpBbQ4q\&q=85\&s=06d8bb33ee9638ef25baf785de8ebf0a)

**Reports → Discounts & Store Credit** shows what coupons and store credit took off your sales orders in the period.

## The cards

| Card | What it is |
| - | - |
| Gross Sales | Order value before coupons and store credit |
| Coupon Discounts | What coupons took off, and how many coupons were used |
| Store Credit Used | Store credit customers spent, and how many times |
| Discounted Orders | Orders with at least one coupon, and their share of all orders |
| Revenue Collected | What customers actually paid |
| Given Away | Coupons and store credit as a share of gross sales |
| Free Orders | Orders fully paid with coupons or store credit |

**Store credit** appears when your store uses a store credit, wallet or gift card plugin. WooCommerce records these as coupon lines without a real coupon behind them, and SaleTides separates them from coupons. Stores without such a plugin just see coupons.

## Discounts over time

Coupon discounts, store credit and revenue collected by day, week or month. Drag across the chart to zoom in.

## Top coupons and store credit

* **Top Coupons**: each coupon's discount, orders, discount per order and what customers paid on those orders. Coupons since deleted from your store are still listed and marked as such.
* **Store Credit**: redemptions, the credit codes used and the largest amounts.

See [Coupons](/analytics/coupons) for every coupon's settings and history.
