# Order Reports

> Aggregated analytics and reports for your WooCommerce orders.

## What order reports cover

Order reports go beyond the raw orders list to show you aggregated patterns and trends across your order history. Access them via **Orders → Reports** in the sidebar.

## Available reports

### Orders summary

A high-level snapshot of your order performance for the selected date range:

* Total orders
* Gross revenue
* Average order value (AOV)
* New vs. returning customer split
* Fulfillment time (average days from order to completion)

### Revenue over time

A line or bar chart showing gross revenue broken down by day, week, or month. Toggle the granularity using the controls above the chart.

### Orders over time

Order count trend chart. Useful for spotting seasonality and identifying growth trends independent of revenue (e.g., if order count is rising but AOV is falling).

### Order value distribution

A histogram showing how orders are distributed across price ranges. For example, how many orders were $0–$25, $25–$50, $50–$100, etc. Helps you understand where most of your revenue volume sits.

### Items per order distribution

A histogram of how many line items are typically in an order. Useful for understanding whether customers tend to buy single items or fill their cart.

### Orders by day of week

A bar chart showing average order count and revenue for each day of the week. Helps you understand weekly patterns for planning promotions or staffing.

### Orders by hour

An hourly breakdown of order volume across a 24-hour day. Shows peak purchase hours in your configured timezone.

### New vs. returning customers

A chart showing the split between first-time buyers and repeat customers over time. An increasing returning customer share indicates healthy retention.

### Top products by revenue

A ranked list of the products generating the most revenue in the selected period.

### Fulfillment time

Average time (in days) between order placement and completion. Tracks trends in your fulfillment speed over time.

### Monthly analytics

A table and chart showing month-by-month performance across key metrics:

| Metric        | Description                     |
| ------------- | ------------------------------- |
| Orders | Total order count for the month |
| Revenue | Gross revenue for the month |
| Customers | Unique customers who ordered |
| AOV           | Average order value             |
| New customers | First-time buyers               |
| Repeat orders | Orders from existing customers |

## Filtering reports

All reports respect the date range and filter selections at the top of the page. Apply a [Custom Segment](/advanced/segments/overview) to run any report through a specific customer or order cohort.

## Exporting report data

Most report tables include a **Download** button to export the data as CSV or Excel. See [Exporting Orders](/analytics/orders/exporting).
