# Revenue Analytics

> Understand your revenue in depth — by country, payment method, product, and more.

## Revenue overview

The **Revenue** section gives you a dedicated view of your store's revenue broken down by multiple dimensions. Navigate to **Revenue** in the sidebar.

## Revenue metrics

| Metric            | Description                      |
| ----------------- | -------------------------------- |
| **Gross Revenue** | Total order value before refunds |
| **Net Revenue** | Gross revenue minus refunds |
| **Refund Amount** | Total amount refunded |
| **Refund Rate**   | Refunds as a % of gross revenue  |

## Revenue over time

The primary chart shows gross and net revenue over time. Toggle between daily, weekly, and monthly granularity to spot trends at different scales.

Use the date range picker to compare specific periods — for example, this month vs. last month, or this year vs. last year.

## Revenue breakdowns

### By country

A ranked table and map showing which countries generate the most revenue. Includes:

* Gross revenue per country
* Number of orders
* Average order value
* % of total revenue

### By state / region

Drill down within a country to see revenue by state or region (available for US, UK, Canada, Australia, and other countries with regional data).

### By city

For stores with concentrated local markets, city-level breakdown shows which cities drive the most revenue.

### By payment method

See which payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, etc.) are used for what share of revenue. Useful for understanding payment preferences and optimizing checkout.

### By product

Revenue attributed to each product. This is the same data as the [Products overview](/analytics/products/overview) but framed from a revenue perspective.

### By category

Revenue aggregated by WooCommerce product category.

## Filtering revenue

Apply any standard filter (date range, country, order status, custom segment) to narrow the revenue analysis. For example:

* Revenue from **completed** orders only
* Revenue from customers in the **US** using **Stripe**
* Revenue from orders matching your "High-Value Customers" segment

## Exporting revenue data

Click **Export** to download the currently visible revenue breakdown as CSV or Excel.
